What is going on?

Everyone has the right to protection and to freedom to build a normal life. Israel claims that Gaza is a hostile territory and therefore has blocked the borders for three years almost completely for people and supplies.

The blockade is a collective punishment. Currently there are shortages of food, clean water and other basic needs. But trade and agriculture have been made virtually impossible as well. The 1.5 million people in Gaza are isolated, impoverished and increasingly dependent on food aid. They can no longer support their economic development and all made to suffer.

Collective punishment is illegal and unjust. In Gaza it happens nevertheless, and the entire world is watching. Governments do condemn the blockade, but this has not brought any results. We shouldn’t take this lying down. No more words, but action! Take action too, and become a friend to Gaza!
