Parkour: a feeling of freedom in Gaza
Parkour is an emerging "sport", born in France, that includes the traversal of urban landscapes with fluidity and ease, seemingly defying gravity.

Like martial arts, there's a philosophical component that focuses on feeling alive and competing with oneself, rather than others. This video from the New York Times documents a troupe of Palestinian youths living in Gaza who realise a feeling of freedom by practising this dynamic artform, in the midst of the siege.
